If your family is crafty and enjoys some friendly competition, the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is seeking entries for its 11th annual Gingerbread Competition.

The theme of this year’s contest is “Holiday Traditions,” which was chosen to complement the mid-century modern theme of the Gardens Aglow exhibition that’s now on display.

Gingerbread entries must be delivered Dec. 2-3. They will be displayed Dec. 5 to Jan. 3. Visitor voting on a Best in Show winner will be conducted through Dec. 31.

Four categories are offered: youth (ages 12 and younger), teen, adult and family. Entries will be judged on appearance, creativity, precision and theme. Prizes will be awarded. For more information and the rules, go to facebook.com/events/537906559883057.
