Real Wedding Wednesdays: Missy Bruggeman and Ethan Nordberg

At first glance, the beauty of Missy and Ethan Nordberg’s Christmas-themed wedding is undeniable. So imagine our surprise when we learned that the couple planned their entire, stunning wedding in just five short months!
The pair first met at a singles table of a wedding in Rye, New York—Missy was friends with the bride and Ethan with the groom. They went on their first date the following Saturday, and Ethan proposed one year later.
“My advice to all single gals is to embrace the ‘no-plus-one invite,’ ” Missy says. “Although it may be annoying to go stag, you might just find your soulmate. I did!”
As for the big day, Missy especially recalls the beauty of the First Church Choir, which sang four pieces. “The music was overwhelmingly breathtaking,” she says. “It felt like a royal wedding!”
If you ask us, it sure looked like one, too.
