Daily Bulletin: Top Teachers Wanted

Does your child’s teacher make a big difference in the lives of his or her students? Do you have a colleague who routinely goes above and beyond the call of duty in the classroom?

We hope you’ll take the time to nominate these people for our 2018 Teachers of the Year awards. The program will recognize three deserving educators—one each at the elementary, middle and high school levels—in partnership with ThisWeek Community News.

Anyone can submit a nomination, including parents, students, colleagues and principals. The deadline is Feb. 14. Readers will vote on a group of finalists to determine the winners. Make a nomination at columbusparent.com/teachers.

Last year’s winners were: Amy Anderson, a third-grade teacher at Buckeye Woods Elementary School; Mary Potter, a fifth-grade language arts teacher at The Wellington School; and Kristy Halleck, a math teacher at Central Crossing High School. Click HERE to read their stories.
