Real Wedding Wednesdays: Jennifer White and Stephen Hennelly

While weddings are all about tradition, couples often are eager to make their happy day unique. For Jennifer and Stephen Hennelly, who met while attending Ohio University together, there was no shortage of personal touches, small and large. The pair used their ceremony attire to honor the dearly departed in their families: Jennifer’s bouquet had a charm attached with a picture of her grandmother, and Stephen’s cufflinks had a photo of his father on them. Both tributes were made by Jennifer’s sister.
More noticeable to guests were the place cards made to look like dollar bills. These “bills” contained pictures of the couple’s dogs, and “they even had the serial number with our initials and wedding date,” says Jennifer. Other special features included café latte roses for Jennifer’s hair piece that were shipped in from Holland and a school bus as the wedding party’s transportation.
