Real Wedding Wednesdays: Alisia Yankulov and Ward Mitzel

Alisia and Ward Mitzel are a modern love story. The two met on the popular dating app Tinder just two years before their fall 2016 wedding. But while their meet-cute might be something of a blooming archetype in love stories, their wedding was one of tradition.
The pair stuck to Greek heritage with a wedding in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral and family-made Greek pastries at the reception. Also traditional were the wedding colors, which included the classic navy and gold.
But the wedding also had a few personal flares, such as the box of chocolates guests got to take home, which were made by Alisia’s family’s own candy store, Goumas Candyland.
