Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland Council: Camp Ken-Jockety Day Camps
Ages served: completed grades K-6; leadership programs through 12th grade
Dates/times: 6/4-8/10; full day (6+ hours)
Description: The Wonderful World of Wizardry is our theme for discovering new ways to explore the great outdoors through potions, magical creatures and divination. This program also includes the traditional crafts, outdoor cooking, leadership and more. Nine one-week sessions are offered.
Cost: $100 grades K-6, $35 program aide and leader (grades 7-12)

Ohio University Lancaster: Kids in College
Ages served: entering grade 4-9
Dates/times: 6/11-6/29; half day (2-5 hours)
Description: Classes available include art, sciences, humanities, history, English, dance, basketball and volleyball.
Cost: $85 per class plus lab fees (if applicable)

Prairie Township Community Center: Summer Day Camp
Ages served: 6-12
Dates/times: 6/6-8/10; full day (6+ hours)
Description: Run, jump, swim and play. The intention of camp is to give children an active summer experience and provide an alternative to typical child care.
Cost: $155 resident, first five days, $165 nonresident; additional days are $27

Smoky Row Children's Center: Schoolage Summer Camp
Ages served: 6-10
Dates/times: 5/29-8/9; full day (6+ hours)
Description: Activities are organized by weekly themes, including art, science, outdoors, books, music and games. Two field trips are scheduled each week with a bus for transportation. Field trip activities are varied.
Cost: $42 per day plus fees for trips and additional activities
