“Corky” is among the animated shorts that will be screened at the event.

Pry your kids out of their pajamas and head to the Drexel Theatre to watch cartoons with an international flair on March 24. The Bexley theater will screen Saturday Morning Cartoons from Around the World as part of the Columbus International Film & Animation Festival.

The kid-friendly, 90-minute presentation will include stories about UFO hunters and star sellers and take them to explore a Singaporean bazaar, among other adventures. Cartoons range from 1 minute, 40 seconds to 30 minutes long.

Saturday Morning Cartoons from Around the World is included in the festival pass, but tickets also can be purchased separately. The cost is $3 for adults, free for ages 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased at columbusfilmfest.org. The website also lists the cartoons that will be shown.

In addition to the 10 a.m. showing at the Drexel, 2254 E. Main St., the presentation will be repeated at 12:30 p.m. at the Columbus College of Art & Design Canzani Center, 60 Cleveland Ave., Columbus.
