Real Wedding Wednesdays: Ariana Nami and Eric Harris

Anything worth having is worth waiting for, as Ariana and Eric Harris can attest. The pair first met as undergrad students at Miami University, but parted ways. Nearly 15 years later, a friend reintroduced them—and at that point, they were done waiting. After dating for seven months, Eric proposed to Ariana in Washington, D.C., the morning before she was set to return to Columbus. Eight short months later, the two were wed in a beautifully styled ceremony at the Columbus Museum of Art.
The wedding included a Persian ceremony—“A nice touch to my family,” Ariana says—and vows between Ariana and her new stepson. Seeing Eric for the first time that day, and seeing him tear up as she came down the aisle, were two other highlights for the bride, as was her brothers’ toast to the happy couple.
