Immunizations Available at Central Ohio Health Departments
Melissa Kossler Dutton

There’s still time to get children the immunizations they need before class starts. The Ohio Department of Health requires that students receive certain immunizations before enrolling and attending school. Central Ohio health departments offer regular clinics where children can receive the shots they need at low cost or for free.
Franklin County Public Health schedules regular clinics year-round at multiple locations. Appointments are required. Go to myfcph.org/shots to schedule online or call 614-525-3719. Parents/guardians must bring a photo ID, insurance card and the child’s immunization record. Most insurance plans are accepted, and discounted services are available for those with no insurance.
