Meet the Vendor: L.A. Catering

Owned and operated by the nonprofit LifeCare Alliance, L.A. Catering is a caterer that truly supports its community. LifeCareAlliance’s mission is to lead the community “in identifying and delivering health and nutrition services” through programs such as Meals on Wheels, senior dining centers, farmers markets and more. We asked Sara Bentley, executive catering and sales manager for L.A. Catering, to share some information about the company with us.
Tell us about the business.
SB: We are proud members of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Catering Executives. We’re also a proud division of LifeCare Alliance, which has been serving the local community since 1898 with outstanding service through its nutrition and health programs. All profits from L.A. Catering are reinvested in LifeCare Alliance to support older adults, medically challenged and disabled individuals in Central Ohio. This means that boxed lunches, holiday parties, cookouts, birthday parties, reunions and weddings catered by L.A. Catering helps your community!
What sets you apart from other caterers in the area?
SB: L.A. Catering is focused on bringing your vision to life. Whether your focus is on the food, the style or the colors, our team will ensure that every detail is in place so that you and your guests can have a truly unique experience.
What can couples expect when they book L.A. Catering?
SB: We understand that yourwedding is as unique as you are. Our focus is on your vision. Our prices are unique as well; they vary based on your service style, setup requirements, venue, cuisine selection, etc.
What’s something about catering that you wish more people knew?
SB: Each couple is unique; there are no two weddings exactly alike. From cakes to colors to cuisine, each detail makes your wedding your own.
