Improve Yourself: The Idea Foundry's Maker Mix

At the Idea Foundry, you learn by doing. And what you learn to do is make stuff. Lots of it. In fact, if you take enough classes at the Franklinton makerspace, you'll come away with a boatload of gizmos, including jewelry, writing instruments, mosaics, lanterns, stained glass, a Bluetooth speaker, even a magic wand. You don't need hocus pocus to make these items, but a wood lathe, laser cutter and MIG welder come in handy. ideafoundry.com
