Real Wedding Wednesdays: Blaique Brown and Michael DeMaria

When Blaique DeMaria reminisces about her wedding day, she says the most memorable part was “feeling so much love in the room between us and our families and friends. It was honestly the perfect day!” The couple said “we do” on April 20 last year at The Ohio State University Faculty Club, enjoying a night filled with family, friends and, according to Blaique, “all the glitter in Columbus.”

The duo met online in 2012 and decided to go out to lunch—the rest is history. After five and a half years of dating, Michael proposed to Blaique at her parents’ house. It was a night full of emotion as Blaique recalls: “Mike took my hand and said so many things that I can’t remember because I was crying.”
