Real Wedding Wednesdays: Semira Ibrahim and Bilal Mohammed
For Semira Ibrahim and Bilal Mohammed, weddings are about tradition. Theirs featured a number of traditional cultural elements, including sword dancers during the reception and a change from American-style wedding attire to customary outfits.
The pair met through a mutual family friend and dated for just four months before Bilal proposed, surrounded by members of both families. One year later, they walked down the aisle together to become husband and wife.
