Real Wedding Wednesdays: Beverly Westover and Mark Edwards

Beverly and Mark Edwards met during an event called “Spark” in 2018 at Vineyard Church. “I guess there was more than one kind of ‘spark’ taking place [that night],” Beverly says. They exchanged emails and, shortly after, began dating exclusively.

Seven months later, Mark knew Beverly was his forever wife and ordered an engagement ring. “The day it arrived, I wasted no time in picking the cutest spot in town to propose to her,” Mark remembers. Beverly said “yes” to Mark on Dec. 12, 2018 during a candlelit dinner at Basi Italia, and the couple spent just under a year as fiancés.

Mark and Beverly tied the knot at Griggs Boathouse surrounded by their friends and family who were not only guests, but also integral parts of their wedding—Beverly’s longtime friend was the officiant, the couple’s friends Seth and Beth Kerechanin were the photographers and Mark’s daughters performed the couple’s wedding song, “Song of Solomon.”
