Buckeye Love

The Diamond Cellar has teamed up with Ohio State University to give one lucky Buckeye couple a chance to host their nuptials field-level at the Shoe in spring 2012. All they have to do? Show their love for each other and the scarlet and gray in one of three rounds of the Say I Do in the Shoe contest. Online voters (one vote per computer) will determine which soon-to-be newlyweds move on to the final round. You can view the first wave of contestants, charged with creating a video with their most creative version of "Hang on Sloopy," online now through Oct. 8 at www.DiamondCellar.com. The second round, launching Oct. 10, will require couples to share their Buckeye love story, said the Diamond Cellar's Jen Walker, with two weeks to submit a story, followed by one week of voting. The third round will go live at the end of the month, but the details are being kept topic secret, Walker added. So stay tuned. Until then, happy voting!
