Teddy Bear Safari

We know where to go if we want to build a bear. Now there's a place to go if little ones need to fix a bear.

This Saturday children are encouraged to bring their favorite teddy to the Columbus Zoo for a little check-up and fix-up.

Clinic volunteers from Nationwide Children's Hospital are offering wellness checks, as well as stitches, eye patches, bandages, whatever is needed to mend Teddy's boo-boo. It's a great opportunity for kids to become familiar with what happens during a routine check-up or a minor injury.

Event: Teddy Bear Safari Date: Aug. 13 Place: Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Time: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost: Zoo admission
