Jingle Bell Run

The weather might be chilly, but that hasn't stopped people from supporting the Arthritis Foundation in December's annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk. Celebrating 25 years of jingle-running this year, the event takes place nationwide and benefits the 50 million children and adults who live with arthritis.

This year's Columbus Jingle Bell Run/Walk is taking place Downtown this Saturday, Dec. 3. Round up your family and friends and form a team to run or walk the 5K course. There's plenty to do besides lacing up your sneakers, including a vendor expo and a Snowflake Run for kids ages 3-10 ($10).

Registration costs run from $25-$30, and you can sign up or form a team online at jinglebellruncolumbus.kintera.org. If you don't want to participate in the race but would still like to donate to the cause, donations are also accepted online. Or maybe you just want to show up and cheer the runners on (they truly do make a wondrous sound!).
