Our city is bursting with festivals, and this year there's a new one in town: It's the Film Festival of Columbus (FFOCOL), and it's happening this week!

The FFOCOL is a collection of films from around the world, and includes a teen-directed film from two students in New Albany. And a script contest through the Columbus Metropolitan Library paved the way for three movies written by local teens. You can catch all of these films at 7 p.m. on Oct. 3.

Plus, here's something for aspiring young filmmakers: FFOCOL includes a workshops for kids ages 11-17, where they can learn how to make scripts come to life.

The festival films will be shown at The Gateway, located near OSU's campus. Learn more about FFOCOL by visiting its Facebook page.
