ODOT Distracted Driver Tour

For those families with teens, here's something you don't want to miss: Promote safe driving with the ODOT Distracted Driver Tour. The Ohio Department of Transportation is bringing this interactive exhibition to the Ohio Statehouse Jan. 18-25.

The ODOT Distracted Driver Tour features a simulation experience where people can test their driving skills. But here's the catch: The simulator will introduce distractions, like phone calls and texts, as you are driving (virtually, of course!) in the hopes of showing drivers the dangers that come with such distractions.

The Statehouse is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends, so young drivers can visit and try out the tour. It's also open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the weekdays. Admission to the Statehouse and the ODOT Distracted Driver Tour are both free. Learn more at ohiostatehouse.org.
