4 courses at L'Antibes

I got to know L'Antibes backwards. For whatever reason, I'd never dined at the chic Short North French spot before this summer. And the first time I ate there, I sat on the restaurant's newly revamped outdoor patio, ordering from the fun patio menu of small plates. It wasn't until my second visit that we got the full L'Antibes experience, lingering over four stunning courses in the hushed dining room.

For everyday dining, I'll probably stick with the more casual patio dining experience (or grab a seat in the bar area once it's too cold to sit outside). But for special occasions, it doesn't get much lovelier than the L'Antibes dining room. Either way, be prepared to be wowed by chef Matthew Litzinger's innovative takes on French classics.

First course:Escargots in lemon-leek beurre blanc

Second course: Avocado and Fennel salad with white truffle oil, organic greens, fennel-thyme sea salt (top)

Cherry Smoked Salmon Latkes with creme fraiche and arugula salad

Third course: Sweetbreads Au Poivre with crimini mushrooms, potato mousseline and sherry cream

Crispy Duck Breast with fingerling potatoes, sauteed spinach and peach coulis

Fourth course: Crepes

Creme Brulee
