Chicken Philly at Flip Side

When Flip Side first opened at Easton last summer, I found myself heading there fairly frequently for a burger and milkshake. My favorite combo? The One Red Door Burger with crispy shallots and brie paired with the Date Shake. Then I started doing research for a certain story that involved eating a whole bunch of burgers...and I subsequently got really sick of them. I honestly still can't really stomach ground beef, so when I found myself back at Flip Side recently for lunch, I was happy to see that they'd beefed up (heh) the non-burger portion of the menu since my last visit.
You'll still find plenty of Ohio-raised, grass-fed burgers, but you'll also find terrific sandwiches like this Lilly's Chicken Philly ($9). It's got a thick, juicy grilled chicken breast topped with lots of melted provolone as well as copious grilled veggies (the traditional mushrooms, green peppers and onions). On the side is some mayo, which I slathered onto my brioche sesame bun.
I'm not sure when I'll be back on burgers, but in the meantime, I'm glad I have some alternate options to wash down with my milkshakes.
