Melt Bar & Grilled to add second Columbus location at Easton Gateway

Anthony Dominic, Crave

Melt Bar & Grilled will soon be dishing its signature grilled cheese sandwiches at a new location in the Easton Gateway district this October. The new restaurant-the chain's seventh overall-will join Saks Off Fifth, Dick's Sporting Goods, Whole Foods Market, Costco and more in the town center's 54-acre addition. This news comes less than a year after the Cleveland-area chain opened its first Columbus restaurant in the Short North.

Melt owner Matt Fish promises the 5,000-square-foot Easton Melt will offer a familiar menu and atmosphere but adds the restaurant's exterior will be eye-catching. There are plans to hire about 65 employees, with a job fair in September.
