What's new at Tastings on the Terrace

This year's Tastings on the Terrace gala at Franklin Park Conservatory will emphasize pairings, with a record 16 vendors. From 6:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 5, local eateries, breweries and distilleries will set up stations along the conservatory's West Terrace, with trio Shucking Bubba Acoustic providing live music. Tickets are $60 and can be picked up here.

While there will be standalone vendors, like Rishi Sushi, Bob Evans and Mikey's Late Night Slice, many vendors have teamed up for complimentary offerings. Some of the highlights include: Ajumama and Brothers Drake Meadery; Angry Bear Kitchen and Middle West Spirits; The Tavern and Seventh Son Brewing Co. and Wings Restaurant and Watershed Distillery.

Ticket sales will directly support the conservatory's adult education outreach programs like Green Corps, which places 18- to 24-year olds in a 32-week horticulture- and landscape-training program.
