Mozart's offers $250 chocolate
Beth Stallings, Columbus Crave

Mozart's Bakery and Piano Café has released a dessert with a hefty price tag for diners looking to really treat themselves. Coated in Italian gold, Mozart's Pistachio Marzipan Bourbon Truffle will set you back $250.
Created by Mozart pastry chef Doris Saha, the roughly two-bite truffle is made with bourbon from Watershed Distillery, then coated in pistachio marzipan, followed by Valrhona 70 percent cocoa chocolate from France. The final touch is a flaking of Paolo Angeletti 23-karat edible gold from Italy.
The new dessert is inspired by a layered chocolate Austrian delicacy known as Mozartkugel, and is available by special order only.
