The Kitchen & Darista Dips team up for a flavorful Taco Tuesday

The Kitchen in German Village has been putting it's own creative spin on Taco Tuesday for a while now. Walking into the brick-walled, open-kitchen storefront on a Tuesday evening is like playing taco roulette-you never know what may be inspiring chef Jen Lindsey this week, from the color spectrum to Disney villains to you Michael Jackson's music.

But tonight, from 5 to 9 p.m., the inspiration is a little more local. The Kitchen is teaming up with Darista Cafe for a taco menu inspired by Dara Schwartz's colorful and flavorful dips. (If you haven't seen Darista Dips for sale at local markets including The Hills and Weilands Market, you're missing out.) Tonight's tacos will include Schwartz's three signature dips: Garlicky Kale Yogurt, Roasted Beet Hummus and Moroccan Carrot Dip.

Dara will be sampling her dips trio at the kitchen tonight but you can also find them in the evenings taco menu. Here's what's cooking:

ROASTED BEET HUMMUS TACOS (can add pork butt or beef tips)

1. avocado, red cabbage and apple slaw in avocado citrus dressing, feta, toasted sunflower seeds

2. cucumber, avocado, arugula, goat cheese, pickled red onion, crispy carrots

3. ohio sweet corn, roasted beets, cucumber-mint, sherry-basil vinaigrette, ohio feta, arugula

MOROCCAN CARROT TACOS

1. smashed harissa spiced lamb meatballs, cucumber tzatziki, feta, soft-boiled egg, crispy carrots

2. cumin spiced potatoes, slow-braised gerber farms chicken, smokey chipotle aioli, cucumber relish, crispy carrots

GARLICKY KALE YOGURT TACOS (can add shrimp, tuna or salmon)

1. herbed quinoa with cherry tomatoes and shaved radish
