Friday, April 10 at Land-Grant Brewing

National pop-up restaurant series Dinner Lab flew into Columbus earlier this year promising a chance for the city's up-and-coming chefs to showcase their skills. Avishar Barua was the first area chef to host a Dinner Lab event, and he took diners on a five-course journey through his culinary career-from his Bengali roots, to his time at Veritas in Delaware, to cooking at New York's Mission Chinese and WD-50. The hundreds of diners who gathered for four seatings throughout the weekend were kept in the dark about the dinner's location until 24 hours before-and all were pleasantly surprised to find the intimate meal set in the brew space of Franklinton's Land-Grant Brewing.
