Stack City Burgers opening in Short North
Stack City Burgers will open in the Short North tomorrow, Aug. 6, in the former Cup O' Joe space (600 N. High St.). Hyde Park Restaurant Group announced the launching of their new burger-centric eatery in April, promising a fresh take on burgers in an urban setting.
The menu is a collection of smash-style burgers made with Ohio grass-fed beef served mid- to mid-well and sandwiched between a brioche sesame seed bun. "Non-burgers" sub out traditional beef for other proteins (think turkey, lamb and chicken). And the rest of the menu is filled out with boozy milkshakes, salads and burger-friendly sides including onion rings and High Street Fries topped with pulled pork, Cheez Whiz and diced dill pickles.
Behind the bar, diners will find $7.50 craft cocktails, 16 beers on tap (with an emphasis on Columbus brews) and growler fills for those on-the-go. There's also a Saturday and Sunday brunch menu (including a Benedict Burger) and $5 bloody mary menu.
Stack City will be open seven days a week.
