Living History Programs at the Statehouse

Celebrate Black History Month at the Ohio Statehouse with the living history programs. These take place each Thursday during the month of February, and are free for all.

The event consists of a 45 minute performance by interpreters, beginning at 12 noon. They will educate the crowd about African-American history, and tell the stories of notables such as Rosa Parks.

Hungry before or after the performance? Head to the Statehouse's Capitol Café, which will also celebrate Black History on Thursdays with a special menu.
