Unique Jeffrey Park condos redesigned
A unique building with broad windows and rooftop terraces, this space was originally built in 2007 as condominiums but rented out as apartments when the economy slumped during the recession. In March 2014, Dorsey's family—owners of Windsor Construction and other entities—purchased the property out of foreclosure.
Today, Dorsey is busy redesigning the 35 condominiums that are for sale there. “We wanted to offer designs that no one else does,” explains Dorsey, who's worked for many years inside the family businesses. “We wanted to offer designs that Columbus hadn't seen yet … to offer a little bit more of a European look.”
Among choices offered to buyers are 52 different countertops, flooring and completely customized cabinets made by Windsor Cabinets, another family-owned business. A self-trained designer, Dorsey is an artist who once worked as an auditor for the State of Ohio. Today Vetro Lofts are being marketed for $230,000 to $495,000. The majority of units feature two bedrooms and two baths, although a few one bedroom units also exist.
