Tutor Time to open in Dublin

Guiding your child toward a lifelong love of learning is what Tutor Time Child Care/Learning Centers is all about. We provide a secure, caring and enriched learning environment that stimulates the growth and development of the whole child. In June 2008, the leader in child education is coming to the Dublin area. Tutor Time was established in 1988 and today provides care to approximately 28,000 children worldwide. The centers offer care for infants through children up to the age of 12. Part of what sets Tutor Time apart is its propriety LifeSmart curriculum, which was designed by early childhood specialists to grow the whole child cognitively, socially, physically and emotionally. It focuses on the principle that children are smart in many different ways.

Tutor Time believes that children learn best when they are actively involved in constructing their own knowledge, so classrooms were designed to invite children to participate in self-directed investigations, while still allowing teachers to provide a strong emphasis on mathematics and literacy skills. Tutor Time understands that parents look for more than just a high-quality education program when selecting the best provider for their family. Safety is also paramount for children, so all Tutor Time centers are equipped with the Safe N Soundô security system, a premier feature that allows staff instant access to a childís medical information, arrival and departure times and the names of people authorized for drop-off and pick-up. In addition, Tutor Time equips all of its classrooms with observation windows and security cameras. Tutor Time in Dublin is currently accepting new children into their full-time and part-time programs. Space is limited. For more information or to schedule a tour, please contact Tutor Time Child Care/Learning Centers, 6365 Emerald Pkwy., Dublin, (614) 717-4747.

ATA Martial Arts helps re-supply the Mid-Ohio Food Bank

"ATA Martial Arts of Lewis Center recently participated in Operation Feed to help re-supply the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. In an effort to give back to the community, the students collected and donated food during the week of March 24-29. The goal was to gather 100 meals or 100 pounds of food. The students exceeded their goal and presented Mid-Ohio Food Bank with a total of 193 pounds of food. According to ATA Martial Arts head instructor, Megan Good, "This was an amazing goal for our students to set and to exceed on their very first try. One of the goals of ATA Martial Arts is to instill a spirit of giving and teamwork among the students."
