Pimento Cheese Spread

1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 to 1 jar (4 ounces) pimento pieces, drain

8 ounces cottage cheese

1 small dill pickle

1/4 to 1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 to 3 drops hot pepper sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Process to desired smoothness.
