Week in Review
So the Patriots can win without Tom Brady. Yes, it was the 49ers, but a West Coast trip is hard. Kurt Warner put up some decent numbers (250 yards, two TDs) and didn't throw a pick or drop the ball.
Many of Chicago's offensive players looked impressive. Oh, wait, they were playing the Lions. Ben Roethlisberger remembered where he put his arm, throwing for 309 yards and three scores.
The Broncos' Matt Prater can kick really far! This is great news if your league gives extra points for distance. Many do.
Who to Start
Washington Redskins WR Santana Moss was shut out, but you've still gotta start him this week.
QB Chad Pennington at Houston? He looked good against San Diego, but which Texans D will show up?
The Green Bay D looks like a no-brainer against a depleted Seattle squad. If you don't have a wildly better option, leave J.T. O'Sullivan in against the Eagles D. The 49ers will be studying what the Redskins did.
The Saints had it rough Monday night, but get a gift in the form of Oakland this Sunday. Still, Drew Brees is spreading the ball around a lot; six New Orleans WRs had at least 30 yards receiving.
Waiver Wire Watch
Mewelde Moore may have inherited the Steelers' starting RB job from the injured Rashard Mendenhall and the ailing Willie Parker. Keep an eye on Jaguars WR Mike Walker.
Giants WR Domenik Hixon looked good in place of Plaxico Burress, but it was only a one-week gig -- and the rookie whacked his noggin, forcing him to leave the game.
RB Cedric Benson, now of the Bengals, look tempting? Careful -- he's very streaky, and he seems to have walked into a running-back-by-committee situation.
