Week in review
The Patriots can be beat in Foxboro, and the good news for fantasy owners is both sides have to put up a lot of points.
Overtime means bonus points for your fantasy players. Except for Eagles and Bengals players, who managed the first tie since 2006 - and a low-scoring one at that.
No bearing on fantasy, but the Chargers and Steelers played in the league's first-ever 11-10 game. And RB LaDainian Tomlinson still managed to post some solid numbers against a very stingy defense.
Tyler Thigpen (!) is the top QB for weeks 8-11 under most scoring systems. RB Marshawn Lynch found his feet against the Browns. Can he keep it going?
Who to Start
The way the Giants tore up the Ravens on the ground, you may be tempted to start RB Michael Westbrook. He's your starter, so that's exactly what you should do.
The Broncos can gain some momentum with a home game against everyone's favorite punching bags, the once-mighty Oakland Raiders. Start all three Denver WRs and, of course, QB Jay Cutler.
The Cardinals WRs face a tough N.Y. Giants D. Look for better options, but start Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald if you don't have anything better. Anyone left on the Rams bandwagon? Time to jump off with the Bears D coming to town.
QB Brady Quinn, our hometown hero, draws a nice matchup at home against the Texans.
Waiver Wire Watch
QB Kerry Collins is still available in most leagues. He's not a big point machine, but he won't kill you with turnovers either. Five TDs and one pick in his last four games. Speaking of Collins, he seems to have found a rhythm with WR Justin Gage.
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick anyone? Flying under the radar for the 1-8-1 Bengals, Fitzpatrick's doing all right. He's a little loose with the pigskin, but he runs a lot, racking up those rushing yards.
