So how do we cope with, survive and ultimately excel in this political morass known as the local PTO? With patience, perseverance and style. Also, a swift kick for the parent who says, "let's have a bake sale."
PTO Today, http://www.ptotoday.com/index.php has great insight and resources into this sometimes frightening world. Articles, suggestions, message boards, columns-after all, there really isn't anything new under the sun. If there is, and you've found it, you are honor-bound as a PTO mom to share it on the PTO message board and save some poor dear from the pain you've felt coming up with the brainstorm.
