Planet Orange

This site is great for young boys and girls. Planet Orange is a world all about finance. Your kids will pick a guide (boy or girl) to explore with. They can learn about getting a job, saving, spending and investing. There are games and quizzes to keep kids interested.


This actually is a PC game about business. In it kids will take charge of a business on an alien planet. They'll raise capitol, pay employees, buy insurance and compete with other companies. It's been compared to SimCity. It's free to try, but the full game is $30.

H.I.P. Pocket Change

This site comes from the U.S. Mint. It teaches kids where money comes from. It covers the Mint's history and coin collecting. There are tons of games and cartoons to keep kids learning.

Teach your kids about investing here. It covers every step along the way to smart investing. Kids will learn about getting a job and managing money. And it features a ton of information on smart investing. There is separate content for younger kids and teens.
