Here are several local courses offering rounds with a cart for less than $40.

Little Bear Golf Club, Lewis Center

This new par-three course is catering to families and first-timers with low rates and specials. They're also trying to attract busy professionals with a 10-hole concept. You can play the "back five" in about 40 minutes.

Marysville Golf Club, Marysville

This course was opened in 1932 and still offers deals and fun outings like the annual Hell or High Water Scramble. On weekends after 12 p.m., you can play all you want for $22.

Raymond Memorial Golf Course, West Side

Previously given 4.5 stars by Golf Digest, this 18-hole course is one of seven operated by the City of Columbus. Play it by purchasing the City Sampler - a round at each course for $95.
