Thou shall be wilt free!
To keep your bagged leafy greens from wilting away into tiny little wet blobs (yuck), poke seven holes in the front of the bag, lay a paper towel on top of the greens and loosely close the bag.
Berry berry bo berry
Moisture causes berries to decay quickly so to keep raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries fresh, keep them as dry as possible and store them in a sealed container in your fridge. Also, rinse the berries in cool water when you are ready to eat them, not before, and enjoy!
Five is enough!
To store eggplant, wrap it in plastic and put it in your refrigerator. But don't wait too long to eat it, because after five days eggplant tends to get bitter. Five days seems to be the limit for cucumber and summer squash as well, so fire up the grill and make some kabobs or throw all those wonderful veggies in a pasta salad.
