The series documents the driving skills of Lauren, a typical music-loving teenager, who must navigate closed-course obstacles and typical teen distractions to prove to her parents that she is a good driver, ultimately winning her a trip to the mtvU Woodie Awards in New York City.
Her parents will monitor her driving 'report card' using American Family Insurance's Teen Safe Driver program. And she will receive driving tips from experts like 2006 Indy Pro champion, Jay Howard. Teen Safe Driver is a program that allows parents to view their teen's driving habits, allowing them to flag any bad-driving behavior.
MTV fans can enter a sweepstakes for the chance to attend the mtvU Woodie Awards as well, at http://amfam.mtv.com/. The site also allows you to test your safe-driving knowledge and make a safe-driving pledge.
The series will premier Oct. 28 during MTV's "The Ruins" and the final segment will air during the Woodies on Friday, December 4 on MTV.
