Surly Girl Saloon

1126 N. High St., Short North

You can find chicken wings and mozzarella sticks any old place. But just because you're tipsy doesn't mean you don't care what you're shoveling into your mouth. All of restaurateur Liz Lessner's spots specialize in this kind of classy comfort food, but Surly Girl does it best. From the lowbrow (Chips and Queso) to the fancy (Surly Girl pizza with gorgonzola, dried cranberries, pecans and balsamic vinaigrette) to the ingenious Frito Pie, this place is perfect whether you're just starting a night on the town or wrapping things up for the evening.
