Ohio native Christopher Moore burst onto the scene in 1992 with his first novel "Practical Demonkeeping," and he's since become one of America's most noted satirists. His novels chronicle the absurd - from the early years of Jesus' life as told by his best bud Biff ("Lamb") to a retelling of "King Lear" through the eyes of his sly-like-a-fox jester ("Fool").

The author stops in Columbus as part of Thurber House's Evenings with Authors series to discuss his latest novel, "Bite Me!" Moore will read excerpts from the book, a blood-sucking love story that hits shelves today. It's the final chapter in his New-York-Times- bestselling trilogy, a farcical vampire tale that began with "Bloodsucking Fiends" and "You Suck."
