Charles Penzone Grand Salons are offering a new service: styling pink wigs.

The upcoming Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure inspired Debra Penzone, president of the salons, to raise breast-cancer awareness by offering professionally styled pink wigs to race participants.

At a "Project Pink" event planned Monday at three salon locations, women who register for the race will receive a styled pink wig for an additional $5 donation. All proceeds will benefit Heather and Stephanie's Team, which honors the memory Heather Pick and Stefanie Spielman

"We want to create a sea of pink wigs as a tribute to two strong and talented women who will always be our inspiration in the cancer fight," Penzone said.

Already registered for the race? Stop by the salon and pick up a wig with a $10 donation.
