Taste of Dine Originals

Attention, foodies: Here's a chance to sample dishes from 43 city restaurants in one night.

The Taste of Dine Originals will be held this Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. The event features cuisine made by chefs from locally owned and operated restaurants, along with a series of wine bars and a martini station.

Proceeds from the annual event go to the Buckeye Ranch, a mental-health treatment center for children.

The event will be held in the Smith Bros. Hardware building, located at 580 N. 4th St. Tickets are $100 per person and are available at any member restaurant, www.dineoriginalscolumbus.com or at www.buckeyeranch.org.

Member restaurants include Alana's, Banana Bean Café, Barrio, Basi Italia, Barcelona, Katzinger's, Tasi, The Top Steakhouse, Trattoria Roma, and others.
