Rowe is throwing a party for "Sex and the City" fans Thursday, and you're invited.

The Short North boutique will host a trivia night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., complete with cosmos, fashionable prizes and a 10 percent discount on purchases made during the free event.

Also worth noting is that Rowe soon will feature the Halston Heritage clothing line, including the white v-neck dress that Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) wears in "Sex and the City 2." The boutique plans to carry at least three other dresses that Parker wears in the film this spring, and in the fall will sell some items selected as Parker's personal favorites, said Maren Roth, who owns the boutique at 718 N. High St.

"So many of our girls are a Carrie or a Miranda," Roth said. "They love to go out and get dressed up."

After the trivia game ends, Rowe, Milk Bar and Ladybird are sponsoring a happy hour at nearby Rigsby's Kitchen. "Sex and the City 2" hits local theaters May 27. --Dana Wilson
