Clintonville residents and comfort food addicts citywide mourned for months when Nancy's shut down in 2009. And boy did they cheer when Sheila Davis Hahn took over her aunt's legendary diner and re-opened it last February.

Now a full year into its resurrection, Nancy's is still alive and cooking, with the classic menu holding strong (chicken and noodles for everybody!) and a few new twists (did someone say homemade desserts?) that don't betray the diner's trademark "family kitchen" feel.
