Best Underhyped Project: Columbus Commons

City Center was an empty mall, a demolished mess, a gaping hole and a memory before becoming a large public green space called Columbus Commons. The park technically celebrates its grand opening May 26, but project principles took down construction fences several months ago so people didn't have to walk around it.

When you wander through, imagine the expanse fully planted by staff from Franklin Park Conservatory. Envision the arts programming set to take place this spring and summer. Stare in awe at a project that changed the face of Downtown.
