Tech summit to highlight ideas, inventions

A tech summit to be held April 27 at the Ohio Union will bring together researchers, executives, entrepreneurs and writers for a celebration of innovation.

Innovate Columbus is a joint venture between TechColumbus and Innovation Fisher, a student group founded at Ohio State's business college. The summit will replace separate events held by each group in previous years.

"The event will bring together the brightest minds in a number of industries to talk about best practices and share ideas," said Tim Haynes, vice president of TechColumbus.
