Amateur inventors, hobby chemists and other local idea people will display their latest experiments Saturday afternoon at COSI during the Wonderland Science Fair, a fundraiser to benefit the mixed-use creative space taking shape in Italian Village.

Built by scientists old and young, entries will include an electric roadster built at the Columbus Idea Foundry and a display of water's erosive power that uses a steel trash can, bricks and a fountain. Awards will be given in categories such as "Most Creative" and "Most Science-y."

Admission to the all-ages event is $5 or free with a COSI ticket.
