Roughly 238 million gallons of gas are saved each year when people choose to take bike trips rather than drive, and up to 20 bikes can fit into a single parking space. Bikes are also a pretty fun way to get around.

Try it with the folks at Green Drinks, who will celebrate National Bike Month and the city's flat terrain tonight with an easy group ride. Riders will enjoy happy-hour specials at The Village Idiot on South Campus, then head to Wild Goose Creative in Olde North Columbus for a presentation on bicycle imagery past and present. The final destination is a nosh at Clintonville's India Oak Grill.
