Staff Pick: Columbus Food Adventures famine relief dinners

Columbus Food Adventures is upping the ante with two dinners benefiting the American Refugee Committee, which is dedicated to famine relief in the Horn of Africa. This is especially fitting because Columbus is the second-largest Somali community in the United States. The dinners will be held at Solay Bistro.

What’s on the menu? Slow-cooked meats redolent of spices like cardamom and turmeric, ample vegetarian offerings and the lovely Ethiopian bread injera are just a few things that might show up on the table. The $35 tickets must be purchased in advance through Columbus Food Adventures.
