Staff Pick: Winter Bike Show

Kristen Schmidt, Columbus Alive

Think of it as a cruise night for the cool kids. Instead of showing off souped-up hot rods, enthusiasts will put their custom bicycles on display tonight at the Knowlton School of Architecture for admirers and dreamers to ogle.

Bike OSU drew 35 rad bicycles and 150 people to the inaugural Winter Bike Show last year, and they're hoping for even more this time around.

Students can show off their gear for free; non-students are asked to pay a $5 donation to participate. Roll:, Paradise Garage, Revolution Cycles and B1 Bike Shop are sponsoring and will offer both merchandise and services at the event. Third Hand Bicycle Cooperative, Homage Clothing Co. and Clintonville Outfitters will also be there.

Food and drinks will be provided, and so will prizes for the sweetest bikes.
